Depression is a widespread problem, affecting millions of people globally. It can arise from traumatic events like a divorce, financial struggles, or the loss of a loved one. In some instances, depression can be a result of a serious medical condition like cancer, heart disease, or chronic pain.
We know how hard life becomes when a loved one undergoes depression. This is a serious condition, and taking action as soon as possible can make a significant difference.
The most common signs of depression can be feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or emptiness, and sleeping too much or not sleeping, slowed speech or thinking. Other signs may include physical problems like headaches and back pain or feelings of anger and frustration.

Try not to interrupt the conversation; be an active listener at that moment. Of course, the depressed may feel overwhelmed with the day-to-day tasks, so you must consider helping them.
